Attorney J. Keith Henderson of Ogden, UT; moronic loser

The state of Utah presented J. Keith Henderson with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Utah School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to advise client his law license had been suspended
• Failed to decline or terminate representation when required to so act
• Failed to act with candor when dealing with trial court
• Failed to explain how settlement in personal injury case would impact the client’s worker’s compensation case
• Failed to ascertain the status of the personal injury case before filing client worker’s compensation claim
• Failed to provide the client copies of documents filed in the matter prior to the hearing in the case
• After hearing on client matter, Henderson failed to contact him for five months
• After five or more months had lapsed, Henderson final informed his client that there would be no recovery on his personal injury claim
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Failed to provide file to client
• Failed to inform client of an upcoming hearing in his case and his need to attend.
• Waited two years to comply with court ruling that he file a notice of withdrawal of client matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
