Attorney George Harwood of South Hero, VT; thieving loser

The State of Vermont presented George D. Harwood with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The State Bar Court found George guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Misappropriated (stole) clients funds over seven year period of time
• Used stolen client funds for personal and business expenses
• Responses to ethics investigators were inaccurate (Screw you, said George!)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Jimmy by ordering he be disbarred. Unvelievably, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court reinstated George’s law license several years later.
