The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Lonnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Violated Iowa law by collecting fee prematurely
• Paid himself a $151,637 fee in estate matter three years before he was lawfully entitled to said fee
• Failed to timely pay costs of $15,350 in estate case he handled

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary punished Lonnie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed reprimand.

Lonnie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to deposit advance fees in client trust account and withdrawn only as earned
• Violated Iowa law regarding payment of fees in probate matters

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary punished Lonnie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.
