Attorney Marcus Lombardi of Akron, OH; ethical gnome

The state of Ohio presented Marcus McKean Lombardi with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

The Cincinnati Association found Marcus guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Marcus was involved with DeAnna Kidwell who left the state with her granddaughter after a Summit County court ordered the girl removed from Kidwell's custody. Marcus had almost daily contact with Kidwell and sent her $130,000 during the 17 months she was gone. The money came from his personal and credit card loans.

After Kidwell returned and was prosecuted for interference with custody, Marcus loaned her more money, including most of a settlement his young son won in a personal injury case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2018), Marcus practices with the Legal Defender of Summit County Inc. at One Cascade Plaza in Akron, Ohio.
