Attorney Douglas Simmons of Charlotte, NC; ambulance chasing loser

The state of North Carolina provided Douglas K. Simmons with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

• Illegally shared fees with a nonlawyer
• Collected an illegal fee by accepting a portion of the fees collected by Lexington Law from North Carolina consumers
• Failed to supervise office staff
• Allowed nonlawyer office staff to solicit clients (ambulance chasing 101)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Carolina Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2018), Doug practices with the GPS Law Group at 8210 University Executive Park Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina.
