Judge Steve Urie of Gilbert, AZ; ethical troll

The Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the independence, integrity, and impartiality of the judiciary
• Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
• Posted a reply on Facebook mocking the intelligence level of a tenant that appeared before him
• Diminished the public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2018), Stevie continues to sit as a Highland Justice Court Justice of the Peace in Gilbert, Arizona.
