Judge Donald Roberts of Page, AZ; ethical goblin

The Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in illegal ex parte [one sided] communications involving pending matter
• Abused the prestige of his judicial office
• Diminished the public confidence in the judiciary
• Failed to properly supervise court staff

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2018), Donnie continues to sit as a Page Justice Court Justice of the Peace in Page, Arizona.
