Attorney John Cronin III of Bennington, NH; ethical gremlin

The state of Massachusetts presented John J. Cronin III with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Boston University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly deposited retainers to his operating account prior to earning said retainers in full
  • Mishandled a domestic relations matter
  • Improperly retained $23,866 in disputed funds in his office for three weeks before depositing the check into an interest-bearing account as he was required to do
  • Signed client’s will as a witness to client signature on said will prior to the client’s appearance at his office and execution of the will in front of the other witnesses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed six-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2018) Johnny practices with John J. Cronin III PC at 388 Greenfield Road in Bennington, New Hampshire.
