Attorney John Contos of Westlake Village, CA; idiotic liar

The state of California provided John Richard Contos with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles.

The State Bar Court has charged Johnny with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to take reasonable steps to avoid foreseeable prejudice to client
• Failed to send notice of intent to prospective defendant in a dental malpractice action without the client’s knowledge or permission
• Willfully violated the Business and Professions Code
• Intentionally, recklessly and repeatedly failed to provide competent services (idiot)
• Failed to respond to client inquiries
• Failed to inform client of significant developments in her case
• Improper withdrawal from client representation
• Lied to client that court was going to hear defendant’s response to motion for summary judgment when in fact he absolutely knew the court had already conducted a hearing on the matter
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to comply with a court order (Up yours, said Johnny!)
• Failed to release client file upon termination

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Johnny for his egregious misconduct as aforementioned. At worst he’ll likely receive a complimentary reprimand or a 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2018) Johnny practices with the Law Offices of John R. Contos as 200 North Westlake Blvd in Westlake Village, California.
