Attorney John Schellpfeffer of Merrill, WI; misogynistic loser
The state of Wisconsin presented John M. Schellpfeffer with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Northern Illinois University School of Law.
The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.
-
Failed to provide required notices to client in preparing flat-fee agreement
-
Failed to hold advanced fees in trust until earned
-
Shortly after representing client, Johnny began sending sexually charged messages and memes to her via his phone and Facebook messaging
-
Failed to withdraw from representation when required to so act
-
Harassed client on the basis of her sex
-
Invited client to meet him for drinks knowing she was ordered by court not to consume alcohol
Examples of Johnny’s sexist messages to his client were as follows.
-
“sooo … I’m going to be looking for fun. Was wondering the same of you.”
-
“What did the Easter egg say to the boiling water? It’s gonna take a while to get me hard. I just got laid by some chick.”
-
Noted new love in his life was his “Harley” and that she likes to be “ridden hard”
-
Told her she “should meet him at five” for an appointment and that “wanna see you when you’re all dolled up ….”
-
In arranging appointment, said to the client, “Wear something sexy tho.”
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. November 2018), Johnny practices with the Schellpfeffer Law Office LLC at West 5087 Sunset Drive in Merrill, Wisconsin.
