Trump Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow: Today’s “Humanitarian” Award

It should be noted that Larry is a Certified Swamp Dweller in that prior to being appointed by Donald “Trumporleone” Trump in 2018 as Director of the National Economic Council, Larry spent his time working as a Swamp Creature as chief economist for Bear Stearns, an investment bank and brokerage firm.

In an effort to placate and kiss The Great Leader’s rather significant derriere, Larry decided to speak about how terrible the Federal Minimum Wage is. Towards that end, Larry spewed forth the following BS while being interviewed by Robert Costa of the Washington Post.

  • "My view is that the federal minimum wage is a terrible idea. A terrible idea."
  • “Those poor small businesses, don't you know?”
  • “"Forcing them to take that kind of payroll increase would be silly."

So, here we have a Swamp Creature who is a worth at least $25 million and likely earned millions each year he worked at Bear Sterns whining that the Federal Minimum Wage of $7.25. The liberal/progressive, left wing states that have a state minimum of $7.25 are some of the richest states by median income in the country. Those states are:

  • Alabama
  • Georgia
  • Idaho
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Mississippi
  • New Hampshire
  • North Dakota
  • Oklahoma
  • Pennsylvania
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • Texas
  • Virginia
  • Wisconsin
  • Wyoming

Compare the above “blue” left leaning, liberal states to the following “red” conservative states’ minimum wages.

  • California = $11.00
  • Connecticut = $10.10
  • Hawaii = $10.10
  • Maryland = $10.10
  • Massachusetts = $11.00
  • New York = $10.40
  • Oregon = $10.75
  • Rhode Island = $10.00
  • Vermont = $10.50
  • District of Columbia = $13.25

With a little bit of luck, maybe Larry can persuade The Great Leader to issue an executive order prohibiting any state from having a minimum wage higher than the federal minimum of $7.25.

And if The Great Leader so acts, the 10 states that currently have a higher minimum wage should expect to realize massive growth in job creation by billionaire job creators living in said states.
