Attorney David Hubert of Spokane, WA; ethical goblin

The state of Washington presented David W. Hubert with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Illegally shared fees with nonlawyer for at least 2 years
• Failed to maintain complete client trust account records
• Failed to promptly deliver funds clients entitled to receive
• Negligence led to staff member embezzling $275,000 from trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Davey practices at 1026 West Broadway Avenue in Spokane, Washington.
