Attorney Emmet Robinson Sr. of Lake Ridge, VA; ethical gremlin

The state of Virginia presented Emmett Franklin Robinson Sr. with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Richmond Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Emmett guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with the terms of an earlier private reprimand.
• Failed to file motion to obtain punitive damages on client’s behalf
• Failed to perform quarterly trust account reconciliations
• Failed to adequately explain basis of fee to client
• Failed to safeguard client property

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Emmett by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Emmett practices with the Law Office of E.F. Robinson at 1712 Financial Loop in Lake Ridge, Virginia.
