Supreme Court Justice William Connolly of Nebraska; apologist for Judicial Misfits
William Connolly was presented with a law license by the Nebraska Supreme Court in 1963 after graduating from Creighton University School of Law.
Justice McCormick has been sitting on the Nebraska Surpeme Court since 1994.
When the misconduct case of Judge Richard Krepela of Madison came before the court, Justice Connolly voted to punish Krepela by gifting him with a six month suspension. For a review of Judge Krepela’s egregious misconduct, go to the URL listed at the end of this article.
It is indeed unfortunate that Justice Connolly lacks the integrity and fortitude of Justice Michael McCormack, also a member of the Nebraska Supreme Court who ruled that Gerrard should have been removed from the bench. If Justice Connolly wasn’t more interested in protecting Judicial Misfits than the citizens living in the Madison area, Judge Richard Krepela would be working as a greeter at the local Wal-Mart if they’d have him rather than sitting on the bench in Madison.
