The state of Texas presented Michael L. Davis with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District 15^th Grievance Committee found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to explain matter to the extent necessary to permit his client to make an informed decision regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.
