Attorney William Davis of Dallas; ethical troll

The state of Texas presented William P. Davis with a law license in 1963 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law.

The District 6^th Grievance Committee found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Created a trust for client and had the client transfer trust funds to Billy
• Retained client trust funds during time he represented the client
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly render full accounting of client trust funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.
