Attorney Jamie Villalobos of El Paso; thief, repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Jamie A. Villalobos with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Law.

The District 6th Grievance Committee found Jamie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Upon termination, failed to refund unearned fees (crook)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jamie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary stayed suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jamie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jamie.

As speak (ca. February 2019), Jamie practices at 609 Myrtle Avenue in El Paso, Texas.
