Attorney David Reyes of Albuquerque, NM; imbecile, repeat offender

The state of New Mexico presented David A. Reyes with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

Davey’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client reasonably informed of states of mater
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to explain the matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the matter
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to provide competent representation (Idiot)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Davey’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Davey.
