Attorney Stephen Fieweger of Davenport, IA; cheating scammer

The state of Illinois presented Stephen Thomas Fieweger with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from John Marshall School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Converted $11,635 in settlement funds that he was supposed to be holding to satisfy a Medicare lien
  • Wrongfully took another $347.50 of a security retainer in a second client matter and,
  • On at least two occasions, deliberately created and sent two letters that falsely purported to have been written, authorized, and signed by a first-year associate to obscure the fact that he was involved in a personal relationship with a client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2019) Stevie practices with Stephen Fieweger PC at 5157 Utica Ridge Road in Davenport, Iowa.
