Attorney Laura Robinson of Centreville, IL; ethical dwarf

The state of Illinois presented Laura Lee Robinson with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Laura guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly entered into agreement with client limiting client’s right to pursue an ethics complaint against her
• Revealed confidential client information while filing response to client’s motion to dismiss her as counsel
• Failed to obtain prior consent from client to reveal client confidences

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Laura by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Laura practices at 7129 Lake Drive in Centreville, Illinois.
