Attorney William Dicks of Chicago; ethical troll

The state of Illinois presented William Eugene Dicks with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the John Marshall School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knowingly engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Illegally accepted $3,000 in fees while license suspended
• Refused to participate in ethics investigation proceedings (Screw you, said Billy!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2018) Billy practices at 29 South LaSalle Street in Chicago, Illinois.
