Judge R. Peter Bradley of Quebec, CAN; repeat offender

The Quebec Court of Appeal found Peter guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Pete was assigned to preside over a case involving neighbors who were at odds with each other regarding $472.45 of damage to one neighbors fence.

Pete refused to preside over the case and told the two litigants to work it out by themselves. He then abruptly and without any warning to any of the parties involved at the hearing, left the court and never returned.

As one would suspect, this isn’t Pete’s First bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Quebec Court of Appeal punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary rebuke.

As we speak (ca. September 2018), Pete continues to sit as a Quebec City Municipal Court Judge, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
