Judge Nancy Pollard of Orange County, CA; moron, bigot   The California Supreme Court presented Nancy Pollard with a law license in
Nancy Pollard succeeded in duping the voters to elect her as an Orange County Superior Court Judge in 1997.
During her insignificant tenure on the bench, the Judicial Commission filed misconduct charges against Nancy in late 2010. Those charges ultimately led to Nancy being found guilty of the following:
In 2009, Nancy presided over a request for a restraining order filed by Kathy Forline against he ex-boyfriend Blake Chenier. Kathy claimed various acts of violence v. Blake including throwing rocks at her, spitting on her, choking her, and destroying some of her property. Of course Blake’s attorney denied that he ever so acted. When Kathy took the witness stand, the following discourse between her and Nancy took place.
Nancy: “Where were your born?”
Kathy: “Newport Beach, California”
Nancy: I’m concerned about the throwing of the rocks and the spitting. I’ve been doing domestic violence now for 14 years. Usually that is the kind of behavior I see in Middle Eastern clients, but almost -- if I read a declaration where they say, “He spit on me, he threw rocks at me,” almost always it’s a Middle Eastern client. If the declaration says, “He drags me around the house by the hair,” it’s almost always a Hispanic client.
In another matter, Kathy decided to declare a mistrial after several days and even though the remaining testimony would only take several hours. As a result of conduct, an appeal was filed and appellate court issued a writ and ordered Katy to complete the trial forthwith. The Commission found that Nancy’s conduct in declaring a mistrial constituted an abuse of authority.
Clearly, Kathy is a practicing bigot who finds it acceptable to make disparaging remarks about Middle Easterners and/or Latinos.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Nancy by gifting her with an admonishment.
As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Nancy the Loser continues to sit as a Superior Court Judge in Orange County.
