Attorney Peter Cook of Milburn, NJ; slacker, repeat offender

The state of New Jersey presented Peter A. Cook with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

Pete’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
