Attorney Robert Leite of Philadelphia; ethical troll

The state of New Jersey presented Robert Captain Leite with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly hired disbarred lawyer Joe Scafidi
  • Failed to respond to defendant’s motion to dismiss client’s amended complaint
  • Negligence led to client’s case being dismissed
  • Failed to notify clients of dismissal of their complaint
  • Failed to obtain court permission to terminate client representation
  • Failed to prepare or file substitution of attorney notice with the court
  • Failed to notify opposing counsel of withdrawal of client representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Bobby practices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
