Attorney Mozell Smith of Paramount, CA; ethical goblin

The state of California provided Mozell Toney Smith with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Mozell guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing
• Willfully failed to comply with court order
• Caused significant harm to his client
• Willfully maintained an unjust legal action
• Failed Motion to Compel Full Acknowledgement of Judgment five (5) years after conclusion in a case to which his client was not a party
• Failed to pay court-imposed monetary sanctions

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Mozell by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2018) Mozell practices at 6820 Severn Drive in Paramount, California.
