Attorney Eric Bissel of Covington, LA; thieving loser

The state of Louisiana presented Eric R. Bissel with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Converted (stole) client funds for personal use
  • Over two years Lenny without knowledge of his clients wrote numerous checks on client’s account for his own personal use in the amount of $28,180
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary 8-month suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Louisiana are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Eric was never criminally prosecuted for grand theft.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Eric practices at 227 North Columbia Street in Covington, Louisiana.
