Is Matt Drudge of the "Drudge Report" a little light in the loafers?
First and foremost let me begin by saying that I hold absolutely no biases of any kind against gay people. Unlike the falsehoods put forth by bigots from the South (David Duke, Strom Thurmond, et al.) I don’t go around covering-up bigotry by saying, “Once upon a time, I had a friend that was an African-American,” albeit only once! I can say with a straight face and without any qualms, that I’ve befriended many, many persons over the years that were gay. My mantra is and has always been, “If ya agree not to peek into my bedroom to see what I’m up to, I’ll grant you the same privilege.” In my eyes, everyone, and I mean everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs and/or sexual preference must be treated equally. For the application of that Golden Rule, there can be no exceptions!
Now, I really don’t give a hoot as to Matty’s sexual predilections. However, given the tenacity of his rants over the years in unmercifully attacking gays (homophobia 101), one can reasonably question his virility, right?
In 1981 when he was 15-years-old, Matty was arrested for making annoying phone calls (precursor to his incessant 900 calls?). After his arrest, Matty was sent to live with his father on a farm in Maryland; however, shortly thereafter, his father sent him back to D.C. to live with his unemployed mother. Can ya really blame ol’ Dad?
Matty was subsequently placed in psychiatric treatment with Jewish Social Services, which clearly didn’t work, right? It was recommended that Matty be sent to a boarding school; however, none could be found that was willing to accept someone of his ilk!
Matty began his so-called journalistic career by writing a gossip column (BS) on Hollywood and Washington D.C. At the time he was penning his screeds, he was residing in an apartment in West Hollywood. Matty now resides in Miami Beach – need I say more?
Matty gained notoriety when he broke the story about Clinton’s illicit relationship with Monica. He then turned his so-called journalistic career into viciously attacking anyone who was of the liberal persuasion, which was anyone living on the so-called Left Coast, Austin, Texas, Boston, Mass, Milwaukee and/or Toledo, Ohio.
Matty could never find fault with right-wing whackos that were porking the congressional help like Nevada Senator Ensign or ex-Florida Congressman Mark Foley. In Matty’s demented world, right-wing, born-again-family-values Christians were worthy of his sympathy while Democrats engaged in like behavior were to be treated as pariahs.
As one would expect, well-respected journalistic stalwarts such as Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Michelle Malkin and Ann “The Man” Coulter consistently cite the BS emanating from Matty’s “Drudge Report” as the gospel. Utilizing the crap that Matty spews forth as the “gospel” is akin to seeking advice on monogamous relationships from Madonna.
Now, it's plainly clear that ol' Matty will never be mistaken as a George Clooney look-a-like, right? And just because Matty has never been married doesn't mean anything either, true? Well, I don't know about that! During the past gubenatorial election in Ohio, the Republican Party sent out an email questioning the sexuality of then canidate and now Gov. Strickland because he didn't get married until he was in his early 40s. And who in their right mind could question the ethics and integrity of the Ohio Republican Party? Therefore, what's good for the goose (Gov. Strickland) as to why he remained single until his was 42-years-of-age ought to be legitimate fodder in asking why ol' Matty remains single at the age of 45, right?
Now, I'm going to leave it to you to determine from the photo of Matty below who you believe he most resembles, okay? Please no nasty emails from family members of Truman Capote
