Attorney Joel Rachmiel of Springfield, NJ; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Joel I. Rachmiel with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Joel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Delayed for six (6) years to pay client’s medical liens after receipt of $75,000 in settlement funds
• Failure to promptly pay client’s medical bills adversely affected client’s credit rating
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to promptly respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Joel by gifting him with a complimentary admonition. 

As we speak (ca. September 2018), Joel practices in Springfield, New Jersey.
