Judge Robert Steigmann of Springfield, IL; greedy loser

The state of Illinois presented Robert J. Steigmann with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law.

It should be noted that Bobby has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past fifty (50) years since he obtained his law license. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Urbana area to offer him a good paying job.

The Judicial Inquiry Board has charged with engaging in the following misconduct of the following misconduct.

• Brought his judicial office into disrepute
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Used court resources including letterhead to solicit paid lecturing opportunities from law enforcement agencies, medical societies and hospitals
• Created potential that he was biased in favor of physicians and law enforcement
• Failed to conduct himself in manner to promote respect for the judiciary
• Failed to refrain from maintaining active role in running a business

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Bobby by the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Bobby continues to sit as ajudge on the 4^th District Court of Appeals in Springfield, Illinois.
