Attorney Laurence Stinson of Cody, WY; lying loser

The state of Wyoming provided Laurence W. Stinson with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Acted with conscious objective and purpose of causing injury to his former clients
  • Engaged in a pattern of intentional misrepresentations
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Made false statements to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Larry!)
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation to a court
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Pursued a clearly frivolous claim
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Made untruthful (lied) in statements to others
  • Pursued means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay or burden the couple against whom he brought a lawsuit

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wyoming Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license. He was also ordered to pay $11,641 in restitution to his former clients and to pay costs of $25,248 to pay the costs of the disciplinary proceeding.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Larry practices with The Stinson Law Group PC at 1421 Rumsey Avenue in Cody, Wyoming.
