Attorney David Vansickel of Des Moines; ethical goblin

The state of Iowa provided David Bruce Vansickel with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Iowa Supreme Court found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Accepted employment as trustee attorney w/o disclosing prior relationship with the company and other trustees
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to disclose conflict to interested parties
  

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, the David Brown Koehn Shors & Roberts fails to disclose the misconduct of Davey as set forth above on its self-service website at www.davisbrownlaw.com Apparently, the firm decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients in order to not limit its future victim pool.
