Attorney Keisha Gatison of New Haven, CT; serial offender

 

The state of Connecticut provided Keisha Shantell Gatison with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from Duquesne University School of Law.

 

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Keisha guilty of the following misconduct.

 

In addition to the misconduct set forth below, Keisha’s law license was suspended three (3) times for failing to pay annual fees of $75 to the Client Security Fund, which was setup to compensate clients who were cheated by their attorneys.

 

Keisha’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Keisha!)
  • Failed to pay $850 owed for bookkeeping services (deadbeat)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Keisha by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Keisha’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in providing competent representation (moron)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Keisha by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Keisha’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Wrote checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Keisha by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Keisha’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in providing incompetent representation (idiot)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Keisha!)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Keisha by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Keisha practices with the Gatison Law Firm at 315 Front Street in New Haven, Connecticut.
