Attorney Peter Metz of Madison, CT; slacker

The state of Connecticut provided Peter A.. Metz with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from the University

of Virginia School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Pete guilty of the following misconduct

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Lied to client he would obtain a quit claim deed

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance

Committee punished Pete by gifting him a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2018), Pete practices at 99 Bishop Lane in Madison, Connecticut.
