Attorney David Richheimer of Branford, CT; check bouncing loser

The state of Connecticut provided David Richheimer with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Davey!)
  • Wrote checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Davey by gifting him a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in Connecticut are held to a much lower standard of conduct, Davey was never criminally charged with writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Davey practices at 420 East Main Street in Branford, Connecticut.
