The state of Maryland presented Charles Mervyn Maynard

with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed failure to maintain the unearned portion of his client’s prepaid fees in his trust account until earned
• Used unearned fees for his personal use
• Failed to keep client advised concerning accrual of fees
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to promptly refund unearned portion of prepaid fees (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2019) Charlie practices with the Law office of Charles M. Maynard at 200 Monroe Street in Rockville, Maryland.
