Attorney George Ripplinger of Belleville, IL; ethical goblin

The state of Illinois provided George Raymond Ripplinger Jr. with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Georgie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Concealed evidence from opposing counsel re: client’s injuries in a separate matter during representation of client
• Failed to advise opposing counsel of existence of his client filed relating to his prior injuries
• Violated court orders during ensuing jury trials by attempting to elicit testimony that the trial judge had determine was inadmissible

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Georgie practices with Ripplinger & Zimmer LLC at 2215 West Main Street in Belleville, Illinois.
