Solicitor Lindsey Fettes of Scotland; ethical goblin

The Law Society presented Lindsey Mary Fettes with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Law.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Lindsey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Failed to respond to enquiries made of her by the Complainers and to statutory notices served by them (Screw you, said Lindsey!)
  • Failed to reply timeously or at all to correspondence received from another firm of solicitors all to the prejudice to the completion of the transaction and to the prejudice of the parties involved in the transaction

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Lindsey by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Lindsey practices with Wilsone & Duffus at 7 Golden Square in Aberdeen, Scotland.
