Attorney George Lawler Jr. of Cromwell, CT; ethical troll

The state of Connecticut provided George V. Lawler Jr. with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Bridgeport University School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Georgie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Endorsed and deposited a check made payable to a client, without the client’s consent or authorization
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to promptly disburse funds lawfully owed to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Georgie practices with Law PC at 75 Berlin Road in Cromwell, Connecticut.
