Attorney Shaun Hayes of Asheboro, NC; lying fraudster

The state of North Carolina provided Shaun L. Hayes with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Shaun guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Submitted an agreement bearing a false, handwritten signature in support of his response to a fee dispute petition
  • Intentionally lied to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Shaun!)
  • Elevated his personal interests above those of his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Shaun by gifting him with a third complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2018), Jeff practices at 313 Country Club Drive in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
