Judge Martin Muncy of Andrews, TX; ethical troll

The state of Texas presented Martin Bert Muncy with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Creighton University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Marty guilty of the following misconduct

• Failed to disqualify himself in a matter involving a prior client
• Failed to comply with the law
• Lent prestige of judicial office to advance personal interests
• Engaged in persistent and willful violation of rules of conduct 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Marty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Marty continues to sit as a 109th Judicial District Court judge in Andrews, Texas
