Attorney Moira C. Harrington of Pittsburgh; scofflaw, moron, liar  
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania presented Moira Harrington with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
In 1989, Moira was appointed as a Magistrate Judge in Pittsburgh. In the mid-2000s the Pennsylvania Court of Judicial Discipline filed misconduct charges against Moira.
Moira was found guilty of repeatedly parking her car at expired parking meters over the course of a two week period of time in downtown Pittsburgh and placing on her windshield parking tickets which had been issued to other drivers for overtime parking of their vehicles.
Between Feb. 23 and March 8, 2004, Harrington’s red Subaru, with vanity plates “MOIRA” (should have been MORON), was parked on six occasions at expired meters in downtown Pittsburgh. Busted by WPXI-TV (11)
After being tipped off by a concerned citizen, investigative reporter Rick Earle and photographer Tim Holloman of Channel 11 approached Moira as she left the YMCA at about 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2004.
Earle identified himself to Moira and asked her: “Are you City Magistrate Moira Harrington? Moira immediately grabbed the parking ticket from her windshield and tossed it into her car. She then denied her identity to Earle, saying words to the effect of: “You got the wrong person, not me.”
Earle asked Moira two more times if she was Magistrate Harrington, to which Moira the Moron (my apologies to Morons) denied her identity two more times.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the Judicial Commission ordered that Moira be removed from the bench.
An unreliable source indicated that Moira the Moron’s application for a job as a Meter Maid for the City of Pittsburgh was unsuccessful.
As we speak (ca. Dec 2011) Moira practices law at 100 Ross Street in Pittsburgh.
