Attorney Alfredo Morrocco Jr. of Bristol, CT; lying loser

The state of Connecticut provided Alfredo F. Morrocco JR. with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Al guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was a sitting judge of the New Britain Superior Court.

  • Lied to ethics investigators that Judge Handy had refused to excuse him from presiding over a trial and therefore he could not attend ethics hearing and requested a continuance of ethics hearing
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal by claiming that he had requested a continuance from the Complainant and that the Complainant had denied the request

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Al’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Al by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2018) Al practices with the Law Offices of Alfred F. Morrocco Jr. at 200 Summer Street in Bristol, Connecticut.
