Judge Richard Krepela of Madison, NE; lifetime porker, Dufus, de facto criminal

The Nebraska Supreme Court presented Richard Krepela with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Nebraska.

Judge Krepela has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the last 34 years. From 1977 through 1988, Richard worked as the Madison County Attorney. Richard then succeeded in duping the voters into electing him as a County Judge in 1989 where he has remained to date (Dec. 2012).

In the past, the Nebraska Judicial Commission found Dick guilty of gross misconduct during his prosecution of Robert Hunt, Jr. for murder. The Commission specifically found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

Dick agreed to provide Hunt’s attorney DeLay, with copies of police reports which included Hunt’s confession. Dick admitted that prior to giving copies to Mr. DeLay; he created a false report by altering a copy of an 18-page police report. He did this by removing pages 17-18 from the true copy and ordering his secretary to type a false page as a substitution for the final page of the copy he gave to Mr. DeLay. Dick unlawfully removed the following information from the report: “Hunt then stated: “I think that you and I had agreed that before I made any statements, I would have an attorney.”

By altering the report, Dick was able to falsely claim that Hunt never asked for an attorney before he confessed when in fact the police report proved he did. When Hunt’s attorney filed a motion to suppress Hunt’s confession based on his request for an attorney, it was denied because of Dick’s criminal conduct in “altering an official record.”

As a consequence of his egregious misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a six-month suspension. These morons did so after stating that Dick’s “conduct was very serious” and they believed that a heavy sanction was necessary.

Isn’t it comforting to know that a certified criminal is allowed to sit in judgment of others in the Madison, Nebraska area?
