Attorney Richard Corbin of Woodinville, WA; slacker, loser

The state of Washington presented Richard H. Corbin with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the Golden Gate University Law School.

The Washington State Bar Association found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to terminate representation when required to so act
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to preserve identity of client funds
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to take steps to protect client interests
• Failed to render appropriate accounts to his client
• Failed to surrender client file upon termination

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
