Attorney Lisa Page of Charlotte, NC; scammer, repeat offender

The state of North Carolina provided Lisa Adele Page with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Lisa guilty of the following misconduct.

Lisa’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Lisa signed an interstate law registration form with the State Bar as the North Carolina member of the Matre Law Firm and indicated to the Bar that she handled the North Carolina business for that firm. However, the operating agreement that she signed with the Matre Law Firm LLC provided that she had only a .1% interest in the firm and was not entitled to any profits of the Firm and had no voting rights or authority over the LLC’s business practices.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Lisa by gifting her with a third complimentary reprimand.  

Lisa’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Held entrusted funds in an earnest money account that she did not identify or manage as a trust account
• Violated numerous trust accounting rules.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Lisa by gifting her with a third complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lisa.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Lisa practices with the Southern Law Group at 11535 Carmel Common Blvd in Charlotte, North Carolina.
