Attorney Jeremias Vitan of Philippines; serial thief, repeat offender

 

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Jeremias R. Vitan with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

 

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Jerry guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Jerry’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Billed client for services he did not render (thief)
  • Illegally charged/collected ₱30,000 from client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

Jerry’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Billed client for services he did not render (thief)
  • Illegally charged/collected ₱17,000 from client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

Jerry’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to pay a just debit in amount of ₱100,000.00

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

Jerry’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to render legal services he was employed to perform
  • Accepted ₱100,000 for services he never performed on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
