Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA): Today’s “Bigoted Homophobe” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Dana. In the past, he has been the recipient of six (6) Awards in various categories and the subject of one opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

In an effort to feed a little red meat to his fellow Bigoted and Homophobic voters in his Orange County district, Dana spewed forth the following disgusting comments to cement his status as one of California’s Premier Bigots and Homophobes regarding the purchase of a home by members of the gay community. Dana’s statements came while he spoke to a group of Orange County realtors, which are as follows:

• “Every homeowner should be able to make a decision not to sell their home to someone [if] they don’t agree with their lifestyle “choose who they do business with.”
• “ A homeowner should not be required to be in business with someone they think is doing something that is immoral.”

Yeah Dana, and everyone in your district that finds you a disgusting individual should refuse to do business with you by voting for your opponent in the upcoming November election.

I response to Dana the Bigots comments, and to its credit, the National Association of Realtors rightly withdrew its recommendation that members donate to his campaign.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Dana continues to sit as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
