Attorney Jeremiah Canady of Friendswood, TX; cheater, repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Jeremiah David Canady with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Jeremiah guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to answer requests for information
  • Failed to refund unearned advance fee payments (cheater)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jeremiah’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a partially probated suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jeremiah by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Jeremiah practices at 133 North Friendswood Drive in Friendswood, Texas.
