Judge Jessica O’Brien of Chicago; convicted felon

The state of Illinois presented Len Kachinsky with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission has charged Jessica with engaging the following misconduct, all of which relates to her indictment and subsequent conviction for mortgage fraud, etc.

  • Found guilty of mortgage fraud by a federal grand jury
  • Convicted of bank and mail fraud, both felonies
  • Accused of pocketing $325,000 as part of $1.4 million mortgage fraud scheme that took place between 2004 and 2007
  • Engaged in a pattern of lying as she bought, sold and refinanced investment properties on Chicago's South Side
  • Jessica’s co-defendant admitted he operated as a straw buyer on her behalf

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out by the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court as it relates to the standing of Jessica’s law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Jessica continues to collect her annual $199,000 annual salary despite the fact that she remains on administrative duty and isnn’t performing any judicial services on behalf of the taxpayers.
